Delhi, 21st September 2025 — Osel Foundation proudly announces the successful completion of its Free
Hearing Aids Distribution Drive, a transformative initiative aimed at
enhancing the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments in
Delhi.
Organized during International Deaf Awareness Week, the program provided 101 high-quality hearing aids free of cost to underprivileged beneficiaries, with a special focus on school children. The initiative sought to ensure equitable access to hearing healthcare while fostering social inclusion and empowerment.

believe the ability to hear should never be a privilege—it is a right,” said Mr. Mukesh Sinha,
Secretary, Osel Foundation. “This program reflects our commitment to
breaking barriers and enabling every individual to participate fully in
society.”
The event
was graced by distinguished dignitaries from Rotary club , Social workers &
volunteers working in the field of disability .
Speaking
at the event, Shree B.L. Verma, Hon’ble Minister of State for Social
Justice & Empowerment highlighted the importance of accessible hearing care
and commended the collaborative efforts of public and private stakeholders. “This
initiative is a shining example of how partnerships can bring meaningful change
to people’s lives,” he said.
The drive
was supported by the Rotary Club of Vaishali, dedicated volunteers of
OSEL Foundation. The initiative also featured educational workshops on
hearing health and device maintenance.
Beneficiaries
expressed deep gratitude, sharing stories of renewed confidence, improved
communication, and stronger family bonds.
This
milestone underscores Osel Foundation’s ongoing mission to create a more inclusive,
accessible, and compassionate society. Plans are already in motion to
expand this program to more regions in the near future.
